Policy Overview
As an Ideal worker, you are required to ensure you are accurately recording all hours worked. Any manipulation or misreporting of hours worked may result in disciplinary action.
Policy
Ideal workers must keep accurate records of their hours worked though the Ideal App. You are expected to clock in and out for your shifts in the Ideal App as outlined in this Policy. You are strictly prohibited from performing any “off-the-clock” work. Time theft or falsification of time records will not be tolerated.
If for any reason your timesheet in the Ideal App does not reflect the actual time you have worked, you must contact support at WorkerSupport@ideal.com.
Clocking In and Clocking Out
The Ideal App will use your location to verify that you are present at the client’s worksite. You will not be able to clock in or out unless you are present on the client’s worksite. Unless prior approval has been received from the shift on-site client supervisor, Ideal workers may not clock out more than 10 minutes prior to, or 10 minutes following the end of their work time (as listed in the shift posting).
Upon your arrival at the client worksite, you must clock in before performing any work. At the end of your shift, you must clock out after you finish performing your work. You are strictly prohibited from performing any work without being clocked in.
You may not perform work beyond the shift end time displayed in the Ideal App without approval from an on-site client supervisor. The client will request this extension with Ideal on your behalf, and you should not clock out until you have stopped work for the day.
If you are working two shifts back-to-back, you must clock out at the end of your first shift before clocking in to your second shift.
Failure to Clock Out
In the event you fail to clock out at the end of your shift, Ideal will contact you to confirm the end time. If you fail to clock out, the Ideal app will automatically clock you out 3 hours after the shift end and use the shift end time as the clock out time. Ideal will also confirm with the client what time the shift ended. You will receive a notification through the Ideal App if you are automatically clocked out. Failure to clock out will be considered a disciplinary infraction. You are responsible for immediately contacting support in the event the scheduled shift end time does not accurately reflect the hours you worked.
