Streamline shift posting for your front line managers by expanding your organization's job library
Trying to determine if a new job is required to post your shift?
Review Existing Jobs: Click the "+ New Shift" button in the upper left corner of any portal page. Click "Next" on the location page. Job descriptions and attire requirements will populate for review as you change the job selected by the drop down box. If you need to edit the description or attire to make the job accurate for your shift posting, you should create a new location. Be sure to choose a "Location Name" that will be differentiated if similar to an existing job.
- Access Jobs: From any screen on the customer portal, navigate to the left sidebar and click on "Jobs." This page will show you a summary view of all the existing jobs your organization can post shifts for.
Click on "+ New Job" in the upper right-hand corner to initiate the job creation process.
2. Enter Job Title: Enter the title for the job, which will appear as the headline of your shift posting. Ensure it's easily identifiable as hiring managers will use this when posting shifts.
3. Set Wage Range: Specify a wage range for the job. This range will be used across any location posting this job. If hourly rate varies by location, we suggest...🤔
4. Description: In the description field, clearly outline candidate requirements, working conditions, and job responsibilities. You'll have to keep it concise as there is a 1,000-character limit. If you'd like help optimizing your job descriptions please reach out to customer.support@ideal.com.
You have the option to "Save" a job after providing the title, wage range and description, but it's highly recommended to complete the attire and safety protocols fields so workers can show up to their shift prepared and dressed appropriately.
5. Attire: List any dress code requirements or clothing that workers must wear to their shift (e.g., closed-toe shoes, black pants).
6. Safety Protocols: Specify any requirements aimed at keeping the work environment safe for your employees and Ideal Workers.
7. Save Job: Click "Save" in the top right corner. You and your front line team members can now fill shifts for this job at their locations and match with Ideal talent based on the job description.
