Workers who work shifts in states that require Sick leave are eligible to accrue sick leave per local laws. This sick leave is meant to be used when you need to take time off due to illness, injury, or medical appointments.
If you work shifts in a state that requires sick leave, your sick leave balance is displayed on your earnings statement, which can be found in the Ideal app.
If you wish to use your accrued sick leave, please notify support at workersupport@ideal.com in advance of your intended sick leave. When contacting support, let them know:
- The dates you will be taking sick leave
- The reason for your sick leave
The Ideal payroll team will apply the sick leave onto your next paycheck.
