Cancellation of Shifts by Client

Policy Overview
Consideration and respect for our Workers is expected when Clients cancel Shifts. It’s important Ideal that its Workers are properly compensated for booking a Shift and being available to do so.

Policy
Subject to the other Policies, when cancelling a Shift, we expect Clients to do so with as much notice as possible. If a Client cancels a shift that you have scheduled, with fewer than 24 hours’ notice, You will be paid for 3 hours of time worked in accordance with the hourly rate specified in the cancelled shift, this will appear as “Non-Worked Pay” on your earning statements.

If you receive a notice of cancellation though the Ideal App, you do not need to show up to the Client worksite, and you are free to book another Shift available in the App.
