# Blocking a worker

## This feature allows you to block a worker from the completed shift’s job and/or location and the organization.

**Steps to follow:**

1. Navigate to Timesheets.

2. You can access the “Block Worker” option from all three timesheet views.

3.  Select “Block Worker” from the drop-down menu on a timesheet.

4. Select the relevant blocking option: (*To block a worker from a specific job at a particular location, or from a specific job across all locations, ensure you are viewing the timesheet for that worker associated with the job you intend to block*.)

5. Select a blocking reason.

6. Explain what happened to lead to the block.

7. Confirm that this worker will be blocked based on the option you selected.
8. Confirm that this worker’s relevant upcoming shifts will be canceled.
9. Confirm that this worker will be removed from the relevant networks.
10. Click on “Yes, Block Worker from …”
